These 12 Kids And A Dog Were Dubbed As The Crime-Busting Heroics

Our remarkable adventure, led by the group of ‘human arrow’ children who guided law enforcement to the criminals: their crime-fighting bravery demonstrates that any child has the potential to be a hero!

The youth, referred to as the “Tremendous Twelve,” gained notoriety online after they cleverly devised a human arrow to lead a police helicopter to two fleeing burglary suspects.

Much like the characters envisioned by Enid Blyton, they journeyed with their loyal dog, a Yorkshire terrier named Molly.

The children, who spoke to The Mail on Sunday for the first time regarding their extraordinary experience, expressed yesterday: “We feel really proud – it was awesome.” They were engaged in an Easter egg hunt in a field near Capel, Surrey, when they observed the helicopter overhead. Their ages ranged from six to twelve.

A nine-year-old girl remarked: “It was really noisy, and we could see it had ‘police’ written on the underside. Then we noticed a man running along the edge of the field. We saw him remove his jumper and place it around his head.

She mentioned that they were attempting to get the pilot’s attention.

She further explained that despite their efforts to yell and signal to the helicopter to direct towards the man, it was oriented in the opposite direction.

“Let us form an arrow,” two of my friends suggested, and we positioned ourselves on the ground.

After lying in the dirt for approximately a minute, the children noticed the helicopter approaching them.

The two males, aged 27 and 28, were detained after the pilot notified the authorities on the ground.

They were interrogated on suspicion of burglarizing a nearby farm.

“Initially, they claimed they thought we were just playing, but they followed our arrow and apprehended the men,” remarked a ninth-grade girl. We take great pride in our achievement.

As the helicopter neared, the pilot observed the children forming a human arrow pointing towards the suspects.

The children gained notoriety online after Surrey Police published the video of the human arrow.

One of their parents, Ben Brearley, informed the newspaper that the children were fantastic and enjoyed the excitement. Many have likened it to a scene from Scooby Doo or an Enid Blyton story, which the children love.

Surrey Police Sergeant Paul Sochon stated, “The initiative they demonstrated was crucial.”
