Kid Rock mocked as fans all make same complaint during All-American halftime show

The Seattle Seahawks may have handled business on the field, beating the New England Patriots 29–13 at Levi’s Stadium, but off the field, a very different showdown was unfolding.
Led by Kid Rock
On this Super Bowl Sunday, America experienced not just one halftime show, but two.
While the NFL’s official halftime feature was headlined by global sensation Bad Bunny, millions of viewers opted to switch to Turning Point USA’s competing “All-American Halftime Show”.
Kid Rock, aged 55, concluded the conservative-backed livestream following performances by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. This event was promoted as a cultural alternative to the NFL’s mainstage extravaganza.
However, mere seconds after taking the stage, viewers began to highlight the same problem.
Numerous individuals accused the musician of lip-syncing.
“Impressive lip syncing,” remarked one viewer.
“Did Kid Rock just poorly lip sync his song? Or was my stream malfunctioning?” inquired another.
“Was that a subpar lip sync performance by Kid Rock? Or was my stream experiencing issues? I appreciate your attention to this matter,” a third person contributed.
“He didn’t perform anything…”
Others were quite vocal.
“Did Kid Rock just lip sync for about a minute and then leave, LOL?”
“It was a minute of lip syncing followed by his departure.”
“Man, I expected to see Kid Rock come out and impress. Instead, he merely played his song and did a humorous dance.”]} “`json {
“It was a**. Kid Rock came out for 45 seconds to lip sync and drop the mic five times while he was still ‘singing.’”
Another viewer ridiculed the incident, stating: “Kid Rock appeared for just a minute and lip-synced every third line from the initial verse of ‘Bawitdaba’ while adjusting his jorts and fiddling with his fedora, then it awkwardly transitioned to a classical performance.”
The criticism did not cease there.
Prior to the event, old lyrics from his 2001 song “Cool, Daddy Cool” re-emerged online, featuring the line: “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage. See, some say that’s statutory. But I say it’s mandatory.”
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen remarked.
Clips from a 2001 Saturday Night Live appearance also began to circulate once more, where he made jokes about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were 14 at the time, stating:
“Why is every guy in America waiting on these chicks to turn 18? … I mean – you know what I say – if there’s grass on the field, play ball.”
The renewed focus sparked even more backlash.
“SO gross!” one user commented.
“He is a repulsive individual. It’s no surprise the MAGA base adores him,” another remarked.
However, not everyone expressed disapproval.
“Kid Rock performed ‘Bawitdaba.’ Incredible and absolutely fantastic!” one supporter shared.
“TPUSA halftime performance was worthwhile. History was created tonight, my friends. Love you, Charlie,” another commented.
The livestream reportedly peaked at around 5 million viewers before dipping slightly during Kid Rock’s set. At the time of writing, the YouTube stream of the halftime show has racked up over 18 million views.
