Here’s every A-list actor mentioned in the Epstein files

The repercussions stemming from Jeffrey Epstein continue to reverberate throughout Hollywood.

In an industry accustomed to controversy, the latest disclosures from the Epstein files contribute yet another chapter to Tinseltown’s intricate history.

As reported by the Department of Justice, the recently revealed archive contains millions of emails, photographs, and documents, many of which mention prominent individuals from the realms of politics, business, and entertainment.

Hollywood’s extensive history with scandal

In a February 14 update to Congress, officials indicated that they had released what they termed “a final list of 305 prominent figures,” which includes celebrities, political leaders, and acclaimed film stars. Concurrently, the department emphasized that mere inclusion in the files does not imply any wrongdoing or illegal activity.

While some individuals on the list have well-documented ties to the convicted sex offender, numerous others have no known history of ever meeting or engaging with Epstein. The names encompass a wide array — featuring presidents, influential business leaders, and government officials — alongside late cultural icons such as Princess Diana, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson.

In an industry accustomed to controversy, these revelations contribute yet another chapter to Hollywood’s intricate history, which already encompasses the offenses of Harvey Weinstein, the prolonged legal battles surrounding Roman Polanski, and the unfortunate on-set shooting involving Alec Baldwin during the filming of Rust.

Currently, as the Epstein files come under renewed examination, the distinction between Hollywood theatrics and actual news stories seems more indistinct than ever.

A comprehensive list spanning generations

The documents are said to mention a diverse array of individuals, both alive and deceased, who have been cited at least once in Epstein’s records. Among these is the legendary figure from the Golden Age, Marilyn Monroe, whose passing occurred many years prior to Epstein’s alleged misdeeds, highlighting the extensive nature of the archive’s references.

Another prominent individual found in the files is Kevin Spacey. The Academy Award-winning actor was photographed in 2002 with Ghislaine Maxwell and former President Bill Clinton during a visit to London’s Churchill War Rooms.

Spacey is not the only one. Filmmaker Brett Ratner and music legend Barbra Streisand are also included among those mentioned in the approximately 3.5-million-page collection.

In July, Kevin Spacey took to X to call for the public release of the Epstein files, expressing his hope that it would assist in exonerating him.

“Release the Epstein files. All of them. For those of us with nothing to fear, the truth can’t come soon enough. I hate to make this about me — but the media already has,” Spacey stated.

Woody Allen and the dinner party detail

The documents also reference filmmaker Woody Allen, indicating that he and his spouse Soon-Yi Previn were reportedly in attendance at a dinner hosted by Epstein in New York in 2010.

Other attendees allegedly included Prince Andrew, publicist Peggy Siegal, journalist Katie Couric, and television host George Stephanopoulos.

The records further imply that Allen engaged in multiple email exchanges with Epstein, discussing various filmmakers, although the director has minimized the importance of the dinner and his communications.

Soon-Yi Previn also corresponded with Epstein, expressing to the convicted sex offender that the #MeToo justice movement “has gone too far.”

However, she seemed to direct her criticism towards the underage girl involved in the sexting scandal, labeling her as “despicable and disgusting,” rather than placing blame on former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner, who was subsequently sentenced to prison for sending inappropriate messages to the minor.

“What do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?”

Another individual with significant connections to the industry, prominent talent agent Casey Wasserman, has also faced considerable scrutiny following the appearance of his name in the recently released Epstein documents.

Wasserman’s agency has been a dominant force in music and entertainment for many years, representing high-profile artists such as Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Joni Mitchell, Travis Scott, and Kenny Chesney, as reported by CNN.

Records indicate that Wasserman not only flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet but also exchanged personal messages with Epstein’s former girlfriend and convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The communications, which were sent in 2003, exhibit a personal and flirtatious tone. In one email, Wasserman inquired, “What must I do to see you in a tight leather outfit?” In another correspondence dated April 1, 2003, while he was married, he messaged Maxwell, “Where are you? I miss you,” and subsequently requested to arrange a massage.

Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 on five out of six charges related to her involvement in Epstein’s sexual exploitation of underage girls from 1994 to 2004.

Wasserman has not encountered any allegations of misconduct from authorities. In a statement reported by the Associated Press in January, he conveyed his “regret” regarding the messages exchanged with Maxwell, underscoring that these interactions occurred over two decades ago, well before her heinous crimes were revealed.

More recognizable names emerge

Other notable figures in the entertainment industry mentioned in the finalized documents include renowned actor Robert De Niro, comedian Amy Schumer, actor Chris Tucker, actress Alyssa Milano, Whoopi Goldberg, actor Chris Tucker, and actress Minnie Driver.

Currently, the release has ignited renewed public interest — and discussion — as observers meticulously examine the extensive records. However, officials continue to stress a crucial point: being mentioned in Epstein’s documents does not equate to evidence of participation in any criminal conduct.

Apart from Epstein himself and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, no individuals cited in the documents have faced criminal charges in connection with his offenses.
