Grandma’s final photo of granddaughter minutes before she’s killed

A woman posted a really sad picture of her granddaughter, Scarlett Jensen, taken right before her awful death in a hit-and-run on October 7, 2022. Scarlett was being looked after by her grandmother in Oldtown, Idaho, along with her little brother Henry, while their parents were away.

While they were walking on the family driveway, a fast Chevy Tahoe hit them. Scarlett died on the spot, and her grandmother and Henry were seriously hurt. The driver ran away but was caught later and got a ten-year prison sentence.

Scarlett’s mom, Samantha Jensen, found the picture of her daughter taken just moments before the crash. It showed Scarlett happily picking flowers with her grandmother, capturing a sweet moment before everything changed. Even though the loss is really hard, Samantha finds comfort in the photo because it shows Scarlett’s happy and carefree nature.

The family is working on healing through therapy and their faith, and Samantha feels thankful for the picture that shows her daughter’s beauty and innocence.
