Donald Trump Labels Barack Obama ‘Demonic’ and Demands His ‘Lockup’ in Strange Midnight Tirade

Donald Trump, Barack Obama

This week, Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of late-night posts on Truth Social, firing off and amplifying numerous attacks against various political rivals—including ex-President Barack Obama.

Monday evening saw Trump drop over 50 items on Truth Social, with a heavy emphasis on enduring assertions about the 2016 election and Obama’s involvement.

A reposted item branded Obama as “the most DEMONIC FORCE in American politics in decades,” then declared: “Round them all up. Charge them all. Lock them all away together for betrayal, treason, and plotting to topple the U.S. government. Starting with Barack Obama.”

Trump recirculated content from a pro-MAGA profile that blamed Obama for inventing proof of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential race.

“Arrest Obama the traitor,” that profile stated.

Multiple entries rehashed unsubstantiated charges that Obama weaponized government bodies to surveil Trump before the 2016 vote. Trump has long dubbed these “the greatest political scandal in U.S. history.”

Certain reposts featured vintage footage involving Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and a 2020 document she once said implicated Obama in promoting tales of Russian election tampering to undermine Trump.

Obama rejected those claims back then, dismissing them as “odd” and “a flimsy diversion tactic.”

Additional shares from Trump seemed to tie Obama to Hillary Clinton’s private email scandal, without offering any supporting proof.

Barack Obama responds to Trump’s AI ape clip of him and Michelle

Barack Obama lately weighed in on the heavily slammed AI video Trump shared earlier this year, which portrayed him and Michelle Obama as apes. Speaking to The New Yorker, he indicated it’s not a direct slight against him—but he draws a firm boundary regarding his relatives.

“I don’t take it personally,” Obama remarked, adding: “I’m always upset when my wife and kids get pulled into this, since they didn’t sign up for it… That’s a boundary that even those with views I strongly oppose should respect. I’d never go after someone’s family like that.”
