Chilling position missing 4-year-old boy’s body was found in with dog by his side

The remains of four-year-old Jonathan Everett Boley, who had been missing, were found in a sorrowful state next to his dog, as per recent reports.
Affectionately referred to as “John-John” by his family, the little boy went missing on New Year’s Eve after straying from his father’s property located near Jasper, Alabama.
According to Fox News, Jonathan had been playing outside with his family’s dog, Buck, just before he vanished. Once the alarm was raised, a search was promptly initiated, lasting three days and involving the collaborative efforts of hundreds of law enforcement personnel, volunteers, K-9 units, and aerial assistance.
This search tragically concluded on January 2, when Jonathan’s body was located in a wooded area approximately two miles from his father’s residence.
The Sun reported that Buck was found alive, waiting beside Jonathan’s body, which was partially submerged in water.
A preliminary report from the coroner indicated no signs of trauma or injuries suggesting foul play, although the official cause of death is still under investigation.

“We must thoroughly investigate this matter to determine whether it was merely an accident or if there is more to uncover,” stated Walker County Sheriff Nick Smith during a press conference.
Authorities also disclosed that an Amber Alert was not activated for Johnathan when he went missing, due to insufficient evidence indicating that the child had been abducted, as mandated by law.
Johnathan’s father, 40-year-old Jameson Kyle Boley, was taken into custody during the search for his son on charges that are not related to the disappearance.
Investigators discovered precursor materials at Boley’s residence, which resulted in his arrest on charges of unlawful manufacture of a destructive device. As per the Walker County District Court, Boley is accused of possessing substances with the intent to unlawfully manufacture a destructive device or bacteriological weapon.

“Currently, there is no evidence suggesting foul play in the child’s death, and these charges should not be mixed up with the search for Johnathan,” stated Sheriff Smith.
According to Fox News, Johnathan and his siblings reside with their mother in Florida and had been spending the holidays with their father as part of a custody agreement.
Rest in peace, Johnathan.
