CBS weather reporter fired after Elon Musk ‘Nazi salute’ comments

Meteorologist Sam Kuffel was let go from WDJT-TV (CBS58) in Milwaukee after she posted on social media, calling Elon Musk a “Nazi” due to a controversial gesture he made at an event after Trump’s inauguration.

Kuffel expressed her opinion in a rude post along with a GIF, which led to criticism from conservative figures, including radio host Dan O’Donnell.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) came to Musk’s defense, stating that his gesture was just awkward and not a Nazi salute. Additionally, Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu showed support for Musk, highlighting his friendship with Israel.

Kuffel had worked at the station for more than five years before her exit.
