Budweiser’s “American Icon” Super Bowl commercial is truly a must-see

Budweiser has gained notoriety for its Super Bowl commercials — and this year’s advertisement contributed yet another unforgettable chapter to that legacy.
The beer brand’s 2026 advertisement, titled “American Icons,” once again showcased its iconic Clydesdale horses, this time accompanied by a bald eagle in a poignant narrative about friendship and development.
Over 125 million viewers tuned in for Sunday’s Super Bowl, and what a spectacle it was. From Bad Bunny’s remarkable halftime performance to the Seahawks’ commanding victory, the game had everything. However, if you’re like me, it’s often the commercials that capture the attention — particularly those featuring charming animals.
Fortunately, you didn’t have to wait long to see one of the most eagerly awaited ads: Budweiser’s latest creation. And as anticipated, it did not let viewers down. This year’s commercial, showcasing a baby Clydesdale and a baby eagle growing up together, presented a heartwarming tale that completely captivated the audience.
Commemorating both Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s forthcoming 250th birthday, the 60-second advertisement continued Budweiser’s longstanding tradition of emotionally resonant Super Bowl spots, employing classic American imagery and storytelling that has established its ads as a cultural highlight of the event.
Titled “American Icons,” the advertisement is already available on Budweiser’s YouTube channel with the tagline: “For 150 Years, This Bud’s For You. Watch our Super Bowl LX commercial now.”
Within hours, over 3 million individuals had viewed the 60-second spot, with many expressing that it gave them “goosebumps,” brought tears to their eyes, and prompted them to hit replay. Truly a triumphant moment for Budweiser.
