Ariana Grande is taking a break from making music to concentrate on her acting career.
However, that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking about her future as a pop star.
Recently, Grande shared that she would be thrilled to work with Billie Eilish on a new song.
In an interview, when asked if she would collaborate with Eilish, Grande said, “Oh my God, of course I would, I would in a heartbeat. I love her so much.
“She’s such a true friend, an amazing artist, and just a really good person, and I love her.”
Eilish even hosted a Q&A for Grande after a screening of her movie, Wicked, where Grande is nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at this year’s Oscars. Grande appreciated the gesture.
“Like, the fact that she did that and hosted that Q&A for me was such a kind thing, it was so sweet of her,” Grande said. “It’s always nice when you are a fan of someone and they show you love back.
“She’s just very kind and truly a good person.”

It might look like a lucky coincidence that the Q&A event for Academy and guild members took place at the Directors Guild of America’s theater and was hosted by two-time Oscar winner Eilish, but Grande actually asked her to be the host.
“My team was brainstorming who would be an awesome person to do this, like, who’s your dream choice?” Grande, 31, shared at the beginning. “I said, ‘Billie, but she’s probably too busy and fabulous to say yes.’ But then she said ‘Yes,’ and I was like, ‘Oh no! Now I’m super nervous!’”
Eilish, 23, also expressed her admiration for Grande.
“I adore this girl so much, and I love this movie and you,” she said. “I still watch the YouTube channel that’s been mine since I was around 11. Just the other day, I was in the car telling my mom that you can find old interviews of you from like 2014 where I commented, ‘I’m Team Ari.’
“I didn’t know those comments were still there, but I’ve said things like, ‘I just love Ariana so much.’ I even used to call you ‘Ari’ to my brother [Finneas], and he would say, ‘Don’t call her Ari, you don’t know her!’”

Ariana Grande, who is up for her first Oscar for her role in Wicked, actually started her career way before she became Glinda in the movie-musical. She shot to fame at just 16 years old when she played Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, and later in the spin-off Sam & Cat.
In the early 2010s, Grande took the music scene by storm, but now she’s advocating for record labels to include mandatory therapy in contracts for their young artists.
“I was only 19 when all the craziness began for me,” Grande shared about her rise to fame and the challenges that came with it. “It all started when I was really young, dealing with issues about my body, rumors about my relationships, and even things about my family and friends. There were no boundaries.”
She added, “It’s crucial for record labels, studios, and big production companies to make therapy a requirement in contracts for projects that can change someone’s life so dramatically.
“You really need to have a therapist you can see multiple times a week.”
